In 1858 Robert Heysham Sayre, engineer and industrialist, moved his family into this Gothic Revival mansion, the first to be built in what is now the Fountain Hill National Historic District. This distinguished entrepreneur and benefactor, played a strategic role in the development of The Lehigh Valley Railroad, Lehigh University, St. Luke's Hospital and The Bethlehem Steel Co.
Meticulously restored, this bed and breakfast Inn offers luxury and comfort in eighteen guest rooms each preserving the architectural details of the mansion.
