BC Ferries - Car and Passenger Service  

BC Ferries operate car and passenger ferries from the Vancouver mainland to Vancouver Island. The terminal is located approximately 15 miles from Downtown Vancouver mid way between the Blaine US border crossing and Downtown Vancouver. Depart Via Tswassen Ferry Terminal to Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal.

Enjoy a 90 minute cruise through the magnificent Gulf Islands. Reservations available. VISA, MasterCard, cash. 

During summer months, the ferry leaves every hour from 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM. The rest of the year, the ferry travels alternate hours from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

When you leave the ferry at Swartz Bay just follow the traffic. You will be on Highway #17 for a 30 minute drive into Victoria. When you arrive in Victoria city limits you will be on Blanshard Street. Stay on this street for approx. two miles. You will need to make a left turn at Blanshard St. onto Fort St. Watch for "View Street" which is the street one block before Fort Street. Turn left onto Fort Street which is a one way street. Fort St.becomes a two way street after about one mile. Approximately three blocks further you will see St. Charles. Turn right onto St Charles and take the first drive way on your left and you will have arrived at Amethyst Inn.

Driving time from Seattle is approximately 2 to 3 hours. Ferry crossing is approximately 90 minutes. Reservations are not available. Cash only.

The ferry docks in Victoria's Inner Harbour. Taxis are available at the terminal.

By car, turn Left on Belleville and proceed to Government St. Turn Left and continue to Fort St. Turn Right on Fort St. and drive just over one mile until you come to St. Charles. Turn Right onto St. Charles. Amethyst Inn is on the corner, turn Left into the first driveway.

Washington State Ferry. Driving time from Seattle is approximately 2 to 3 hours. This is a car and passenger ferry. There are limited departures which change seasonally. Crossing time is approximately 2 to 3 hours. Reservations are available.

Follow the signs To Victoria, via Hwy 17 (which becomes Blanchard St when you enter the City of Victoria.). Continue until reach Fort St. Turn Left and drive just over one mile until you come to St. Charles. Turn Right onto St. Charles. Amethyst Inn is on the corner, turn Left into the first driveway.
