Jürgen's homemade German-style breakfast is famous. Every morning the " family-size" dining table at the Carpe Diem is the meeting point for all guests who like a good cup of coffee, German bread and cakes, Belgian waffles, quiche, omelets or other special treats and a nice chat with friendly people. The standard breakfast consist of breads, bagels, croissant, muffins, cakes, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, jams, cold cuts such as Prosciutto and cheese, orange juice, fresh Carpe Diem Coffee and a wide variety of teas.

There is a 24 hour coffee & espresso station and a nice range of teas as well as pastries throughout the day for a relaxing tea time. Afternoon refreshments as well as wine and cheese are being served in the common rooms or on one of the outside patios.
