A longing which has always drawn people to Provincetown: Poets, writers, artists...people who fall in love with this special place at the edge of the continent.
Rainer and Jürgen moved from Cologne, Germany to Provincetown in November 1997 to open the Carpe Diem Guesthouse & Spa. Rainer left behind a career in the clothing fashion industry while Jürgen, a freelance journalist for prominent magazines in Germany, is still writing articles. Hans joined the Carpe Diem in May 2002. He graduated from the best Hotel schools in France his home country. He has worked in 5-Star-Hotels all over the world and decided to continue his career in the hospitality business on Cape Cod.
The Carpe Diem Guesthouse & Spa is located close to the National Seashore with miles of unspoiled beaches. There are wonderful bike trails for the active guests and organized dune tours as well as whale watch trips for an unforgettable experience. Kayaking, surfing, windsurfing, fishing, sailing, cycling, tennis, and golf as well as two gyms are within close distance to the guesthouse. We are quietly located in the center of town with it's unique shops, marvelous restaurants, theaters, cinema and nightly entertainment.
