| The Henry David Thoreau cottage is the largest room in our guesthouse, and is a private unit, separate from the rest of the house and located adjacent to our garden patio. The cottage features a queen-size bed, and a comfortable sitting area with down sofa, perfect for relaxing in as the fireplace warms the room on those cool, Cape Cod nights. There are lovely bay windows that look out on our sundeck and hot tub area. The cottage also has sliding glass doors that lead out to a private patio area with a mini-garden and fountain. This is the only room in the guesthouse that offers a kitchenette, which includes a microwave, wet bar, refrigerator, and coffeemaker. There is also an integrated CD stereo system that provides music throughout the unit, whether you’re laying in bed or soaking in the two-person Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. For your added comfort and convenience, we also provide bathrobes, beach towels, down comforter, central air, TV/VCR, hairdryer, and telephone with voicemail and dataport. | | | |
