About This Property

Housed in one of gold-rush Jacksonville's early permanent structures, the Inn perpetuates the nostalgic romances of the era. Built in 1861 and listed in National Historic Register, the walls of the dining area and lounge are built of locally quarried sandstone; and specks of gold are still visible in the mortar. The Inn extends to its visitors the ambiance of early western America and offers its guests an epicurean experience associated with superb dining along with luxurious hotel accommodations. It has become a nationally acclaimed restaurant frequently featured on CNN and The Learning Channel's "Great Country Inns". As one of Oregon's most award-winning restaurants, the Inn has also been recognized by the Pacific Northwest Magazine and the Oregon Magazine as one of Oregon's best restaurants. The Wine Spectator bestowed an award to The Inn for its comprehensive wine list. The Jacksonville Inn is located a short and comfortable four-hour drive from Portland on Interstate 5 and a six-hour drive from San Francisco. Take I-5 Exit 30 from either direction - follow the signs to Hwy 238 Jacksonville.
