The Story Behind Heron House...

In the previous WEB pages, you've read about the nuts and bolts of what Heron House offers from beautiful orchids to uniquely designed and furnished rooms.

But Heron House is more than bricks and mortar. It really is a living philosophy of what constitutes service. Owners Roy and Christina Howard wanted Heron House to reflect what makes them happy, a warm relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The Heron House is a classic example of pre-1860 Conch architecture. One of the few buildings to survive the great fire of 1886, it remains the oldest structure on Simonton St.
