Stonecroft Country Inn, an 1807 sea captain’s country estate, consists of a sunny Georgian colonial and newly renovated Grange. The Main house, listed on the National Historic Register, has four common rooms, six fireplaces, and four exceptional guest rooms with private baths, three with fireplaces. The Grange contains six luxury guest rooms and Dining Room.

Stonecroft is particularly suitable for couples who want to spend time together without their children. A serene, therapeutic weekend at Stonecroft enables you to reconnect and bring goodwill back to your families and workplace.
Public rooms in the Main House include the Great Room with its nine foot wide fireplace; the Red Room lends itself more to quiet pursuits such as meditation or reading. the Snuggery, originally the borning room, is now a small library. Main house guests will be more comfortable in flat heeled shoes due to its natural surroundings and nearly two hundred year old floors.
The Grange is an 8,000 square foot newly converted post and beam barn sitting atop the massive granite fieldstone foundation which is included on the National Register of Historic Places.
Reception, a small lounge, and four luxury guest rooms with private baths are housed on the first floor; two premier suites with spectacular en suite baths make up the second floor. All Grange rooms are air-conditioned, decorated in English, American, or French Country styles, and have fireplaces, two-person whirlpool tubs, separate showers, and towel warmers.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the ground floor dining room, which is decorated in the style of an English country manor and features a comfortably furnished lounge area with fireplace, echoing the grace of the Keeping Room in the main house. French doors open onto a landscaped stone terrace for outdoor dining overlooking the grapevine-shaded pergola, and water garden. International cuisine is prepared by our European trained chef. Dinner is also available to nonresident guests by prior reservation.
