The tables in the sunlit dining room are set with lace table cloths, fresh flowers, fine china and gleaming crystal. Amidst a background of candlelight and soft classical music, a sumptuous repast is served. Enjoy such specialties as Pain Perdu with Orange Cream, Swiss Eggs in Puff Pastry, or Chocolate-Stuffed French Toast with Creme Anglaise. Freshly blended juices, seasonal fruits, our special coffee blend and imported teas round out the fare.

Fortified for adventure, enjoy the Cape's many attractions. Bask in the sun on a sandy beach... bicycle along the ocean on the Shining Sea Bikeway to Woods Hole, a world center for marine science... catch a ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket... watch the whales... search for antique treasures... explore the sand dunes along the national Seashore... visit the Pilgrims at Plymouth Plantation. All these activities are nearby or within an easy drive of the Inn.

Late afternoon... the perfect time to return to the Inn and enjoy a frosty glass of iced tea and freshly baked cookies, while sitting in a comfortable rocker on the shaded front porch. In winter, curl up by the fire with your favorite book and sip a cup of fragrant mulled cider or steaming hot chocolate.
