From I-26 or Hwy 17 South, take Meeting Street/Visitor's center exit toward historic district area. Travel approximately 1.5 miles S to Broad Street, turn right. Governor's House is on the left, at the corner of Orange Street, 1 block past King Street.

From Hwy 17 North or James Island, cross the Ashley River and take Lockwood Boulevard right (south). Follow Lockwood past the city marina until Lockwood turns sharply to the right, becoming Broad Street. Follow Broad past 3 stoplights. Governor's House is on the right.
