- Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water: Frank Lloyd Wright's famous residence, Falling Water is located within an hour's drive from the Inn. It is closed in January and February.
- Frank Lloyd Wright's Kentuck Knob: Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture is featured in this residence, just several miles from Falling Water. Open all year
- Western Maryland State Parks: There are approximately 5 State Parks located within 50 miles of the Inn. Hiking, Biking, canoeing, kayaking, cross country skiing and bird watching are popular activities.

- Boating: Power boat rentals are nearby.
- Boat cruises: From May to October, weather permitting, the Inn's 28' pontoon boat motors out each afternoon taking guests on one of our lake tours
- Canoeing/Kayaking: Paddle one of the Inn's canoes or kayaks about the lake.
- Biking: Pedal the Inn's Bianchi hybrid 18 speed bike out onto the many well-paved lakeside and country roads.
- Tennis: Inn guests have free open use of the Lake Pointe Community tennis court across the street from the inn.
- Ski Area: The Inn is located directly across the street from the Wisp Ski and Golf Resort
- Golf: The Inn is located directly across the street from the Wisp Ski and Golf Resort.
