Surrounded by lush annual and perrenial gardens and ponds, the Round Barn is one of the most extraordinary and romantic settings for a New England wedding, Civil Union, or a social or corporate event. We even have a Justice of the Peace on staff! AnneMarie DeFreest, the Inn owner, has over ten years of experience planning events, and enjoys sharing her knowledge with you.

The Round Barn can accommodate up to 200 guests. The middle or upper levels of the barn can be set-up for sit-down dinners, buffets, or stations. The upper level is the perfect place to conclude your celebration with dancing and a band.

Our back terrace and yard are ideal for your ceremony, with the backdrop of flora and fauna, foliage and ponds, fields, meadows and mountains. Have your hors d'oeuvres set-up outside, or simply enjoy strolling with your guests.

The beauty of the Round Barn can only be matched by the talent of our catering team, Cooking from the Heart, where it is our belief that there is a strong connection between food and the heart. That passion is present at every event. Cooking from the Heart has become famous throughout the New England area for its style, quality and attention to detail.

In assisting you with the planning of your wedding, we will be happy to suggest bands, string ensembles, or DJ's that have played at the Inn (i.e. Classic Consort). Our experience allows us to guide you toward the best choices of music for the style of wedding you are having, as well as ensuring that coordination with our facilities is seamless.

Our family and staff have 35 years of floral experience. We will be happy to suggest floral and decorating options available to you. The outside grounds are quite beautiful in the spring, summer and fall, so your main concern should be with personal and table flowers, and anything you may want for the ceremony, bar, or gift tables.

We have twelve beautiful guest rooms at the Inn including one suite. You can view our rooms by going to the Rooms & Rates page. There are also over 2,000 more beds all within a 10 mile radius for additional guests. Come down to our dining area the next morning to a breakfast creation unique to Vermont. We are conveniently located in the country, yet only 40 minutes from the Burlington International Airport.
