Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a non-stick sauté pan, combine butter, sugar and spices and cook
over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Add the nuts and cook over medium low
heat, stirring often until the mixture starts to thicken, about 10 minutes.
Transfer pan to oven and cook until sugar mixture begins to caramelize. Stir
the mixture often and remove when nuts are golden brown, and the sugar has become
very thick, about 15 minutes. Take care not to let the nuts or sugar mixture
burn.
