Whalewalk Inn Sour Cream Waffles with Banana Foster Topping  

Ingredients
 
Whalewalk Inn Waffles ½ cup melted butter 3 eggs, separated 1 teaspoon vanilla ¾ cup milk ¾ cup sour cream 2 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon baking soda 1 ½ cups flour ½ teaspoon salt  

Directions
 
Beat egg yokes in a large bowl. Beat in milk, melted butter, vanilla and sour cream Combine flour, salt and other dry ingredients. SIFT into egg mixture and beat well. Beat egg whites until stiff. Carefully fold into batter. Bake and serve with desired topping. Serves 4. To do the Bananas: Individually: Melt butter in sauté pan. Slice banana into butter. Heat through and add syrup and cook to your liking without getting bananas soggy. For a large group: Slice bananas in 1/2 and then quarter, or just cut in round circles. Cover bottom of casserole dish with orange juice and 1/4 cup of banana liquor. Slice bananas and coat bananas with orange juice mixture. Cover with brown sugar. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake at 325-350 for 1/2 hour. Spoon over waffles.
