Over the two decades since our family began taking in guests to continue the tradition started by the Overton family soon after the Civil War, we have adopted many recipes from varied sources, and due to Mother's southern French influence, have seasoned them with just a touch of Provence. To satisfy the many guest requests, we have included a few of our favorite recipes to let you sample at home some of the tastes you can enjoy at Prospect Hill.

For those of you whom we have not yet had the pleasure of meeting, perhaps these brief glimpses into our inn and some of our signature dishes will whet your appetite enough that you will come to visit us soon! Bon Appétit!
