Accommodations are in the restored outbuildings with their beamed ceilings, and squeaking floors and all with cozy working fireplaces … or in the manor house with antique furnishings and quilts and a private verandah overlooking the countryside.

The Thompson RoomUS $395
This room is located in the oldest section of the manor and features a ceiling with exposed eighteenth century beams. Private bath with glass enclosed shower. It has a queen-size four-poster bed and sitting area next to the fireplace. The Thompson Room was the first bedroom of the manor house dating to 1732 when a barn structure was converted into the original two and one-half story section of the Manor House. 
 
Miss Vashti's RoomUS $375
Miss Vashti's room features a queen-size four-poster pencil bed hand-built by local craftsmen, and an adjoining sun-filled breakfast nook that faces east to catch the morning sun. Small private bath with shower. This room was named for Vashti Johnson who worked at Prospect Hill for many years, and who was present for its dedication in 1989. 
 
Miss Marci's RoomUS $420
Miss Marcie's Room, over the drawing room wing of the Manor House, features a large sit-in window, a romantic queen-size four-poster canopy bed, and private bath with tub/shower. This room is named for Marcie Overton, the last of the Overtons to live at Prospect Hill. Below is a photo of her and her sister Frances taken for their "coming-out" party in 1901. 
 
The Terrill RoomUS $450
The Terrill Room, located above the spiral staircase of the Manor House, has a cozy sitting room and queen-sized bed. Sunny private bath with single Jacuzzi whirlpool tub and hand held shower nozzle. The room was named for the Terrill family whose descendents passed on Prospect Hill to William Overton Sr. in the 1840's. 
 
The Overton RoomUS $465
This very large former master bedroom has its own private veranda overlooking the arboretum and features double jacuzzi bath and queen-sized four-poster wheat and tobacco bed. The Overton is located in the 1840's wing of the manor house, added during one of the Overton family's extensive additions to the house. 
 
The Carriage HouseUS $495
The Carriage House at Prospect Hill is the largest suite with sitting room, double Jacuzzi bath, and queen-size bed. It features a view of the pond and fields from its deck…perfect for breakfast in the morning or relaxing in the evening. The Carriage House dates from the 1850's. It was built along with the Groom's Quarters above to house the carriages and drivers of visiting guests. 
 
The Boys' CabinUS $440
The Boys' Cabin, ca. 1699, the oldest building on the grounds, is private and cozy, featuring exposed log walls, redwood/cedar bath with double Jacuzzi bath, double-size bed, and a sitting deck overlooking the pool. This log cabin dates to the late 1690's and was the original building on the property. It got its name when, in summertime, young male family members would sleep there in cool comfort. 
 
The Summer KitchenUS $455
The Summer Kitchen features a large hearth fireplace, Queen-size four-poster cannonball bed, and double Jacuzzi in the bath. It also has the most extensive pastoral views of any of the inn's accommodations. The Summer Kitchen was where all cooking was done during the social season from the 1720's to the early 1900's. It still has a trap door leading to the cooks' attic lodgings. 
 
Uncle Guy's House (Downstairs)US $465
The only room in the inn with a king-size bed, Uncle Guy's House Downstairs features an enclosed oval whirlpool tub and whitewashed brick walls. Uncle Guy's House is the only existing known slave quarters at Prospect Hill and was named for one of the plantation's beloved foremen. 
 
The Overseer's CottageUS $495
This private cottage has a sun-filled sitting room and a small sun deck overlooking the pool. The bath has a double jacuzzi tub, and there is a fireplace at the foot of the queen-sized bed. The Overseer's Cottage dates to the 1740's and was used for many years as the plantation office before it was refurbished in the 1930's as the summer residence for Miss Hope Thompson, the first president of the Women's Bar Association. 
 
Sanco Pansy's CottageUS $495
A short distance from the Manor House, through a boxwood hedge, is Sanco Pansy's Cottage. It features a small sitting room with CD player, a redwood bath with double jacuzzi tub, and a queen-sized bed. Before its renovation in 1988, Sanco's cottage had been used as the farm's chicken coop, and more recently as a place to store firewood. Originally it was the dwelling of Sanco Pansy Scott who followed his master throughout the War between the states and is buried on the property. 
 
Groom's QuartersUS $420
The Groom's Quarters is located above the carriage house and features a second-story landing perfect for breakfasting, a cathedral ceiling, and exposed original wood timbers with queen-size bed and modern bath with tub/shower. The Groom's Quarters was used by visiting groomsmen bringing guests to plantation social events.
