Rooms and Rates Policies The Inn has a variety of accommodations catering to all types of visitors from romantic couples, to families, to groups of friends. The main Inn building has 14 rooms and suites, some with fireplaces, some with porches, almost all with beautiful views!. The Cottage in the Pines is a separate house with 5 guestrooms, all with private baths and all beautifully decorated. The three Townhouses at the Historic Mill each have two bedrooms and a bath upstairs and a living room and kitchen downstairs, perfect for families or thos who really want a private get-away! Each room is unique, individually and distinctively decorated in a country style. All have private bath, and Gwendolyn's Room offers barrier-free access. All rooms are smoke-free. In our guest rooms our friends will find fresh fruit, a trail map welcoming them to hike our "back forty," and an innkeeper-written guide to southern Vermont which includes, several self guided day trips, bike loops, and hiking tours. Of course, West Mountain Inn tradition also requires that each visitor return home with an African violet. General Room Descriptions     The Cottage in the Pines The Cottage in the Pines was the home in which the Carlson's raised their family. It is part way up the driveway and is home to three separate guest rooms, each with it's own private bath. In the Cottage there is also a living room with woodburning fireplace and a small kitchen.
