Master carpenter Almeron King built this gracious 1885 Queen Anne Victorian Inn as his family home. King's skill and imagination abound. The hand crafted chestnut mouldings, and elaborately carved fireplace mantles reflect a strong Eastlake influence. The whimsical roofline, complete with cupola and balcony, soars skyward.
Surrender to the simplicity and graceful beauty of lace curtains, oriental carpets on gleaming wood floors, high ceilings, antique clocks and the rich luster of natural woods. The comfortable parlours invite you to linger, to explore our extensive library, to play the baby grand piano or to relax and do nothing at all. In warmer months enjoy our wrap around porch and old-fashioned gardens.
The charm and excitement, museums and race tracks, specialty shops and restaurants of Saratoga are an easy walk from the Westchester House. After a busy day sampling the delights of Saratoga, relax on the wrap around porch, in the garden or in the parlours and enjoy a refreshing glass of lemonade.
