2 cups milk, scalded
5 egg yolks
1/8 tsp salt
2/3 cup sugar

Directions

|
In a double boiler with water boiling but not touching the pan insert, combine the ingredients, stirring constantly for about twenty minutes till the mixture thickens. Do not allow the custard to come to a boil.
