Little St. Simons Island is accessible only by boat with departures twice daily from the Hampton River Club Marina on Saint Simons Island, Georgia. Commercial flights are available in Brunswick, Georgia (BQK), Jacksonville, Florida (JAX), and Savannah, Georgia (SAV).

Driving Directions

If you are traveling South on I-95: Take I-95 South to Georgia exit 38 for Brunswick and the Golden Isles. At the exit, turn left onto Spur 25. Take Spur 25 until it merges with Hwy. 17 South. Take Hwy.17 South until you come to the left turn for the F.J. Torras Causeway to St. Simons Island and Sea Island. Take this causeway to the first traffic light. Turn left onto Sea Island Causeway. At the next light, turn left onto Frederica Rd. Stay on Frederica Rd. for about 3 miles until it forks at the cemetery. Bear right into the traffic circle, then take the first right on Lawrence Road. Drive for about 6 miles to Hampton Plantation, and bear right onto Hampton Point Rd. This road winds through a residential area for about 1.5 miles until it ends at a gated community.  Turn right before the gate, then the Hampton River Club Marina will be on your right.

If you are traveling North on I-95: Take I-95 North to Georgia exit 29 for Brunswick and the Golden Isles. At the exit, turn right onto Hwy. 17 North. Take Hwy. 17 north until you come to the right turn for the F.J. Torras Causeway to St. Simons Island and Sea Island. Take this causeway to the first traffic light. Turn left onto Sea Island Causeway. At the next light, turn left onto Frederica Rd. Stay on Frederica Rd. for about 3 miles until it forks at the cemetery.
