About This Property

A World Class Colonial Farm Inn in the Midcoast Boothbay Harbor Region.

The Inn is situated on an island, originally named Jeremy Squam Island.

It is connected to the mainland by a short bridge and the picturesque town of Wiscasset is only 15 minutes away. There you can enjoy the Music Wonder House Museum with the largest collection of music boxes, and also the many antique shops and galleries. Bath is about 20 minutes and you can visit the Maine Maritime Museum there, along with the many fun shops in town. Then go down to either Popham Beach in Phippsburg or Reid State Park on Georgetown Island. Boothbay Harbor is about 40 minutes and there is much to see and explore in the area.

Part of the Inn goes back to 1763 with the 'newer' part going back to 1825. The carriage barn sitting room is the original carriage barn and the bedrooms off of it were the horse stables and hay loft. In the 1825 part we have the 4 largest bedrooms all with working fireplaces.

We are surrounded by fields and stone walls and the property goes down to a salt water marsh where you can just sit and relax and watch the wild life,or go for a row in the boat.

All the vegetables served at the Inn are grown  in our large organic garden along with eggs from our own chickens.
