The Baladerry Inn, c1830, is a Federal farmhouse typical of the Adams County area. The Inn was utilized as a Union field hospital during the Battle for Gettysburg.
There are three buildings, The Carriage House, The Main House and the Old House. The Carriage House sits on the site of the old barn and is a few feet from the Main Building. The Main House contains some guest rooms , our Great Room , a Beverage Center for our guests use and a large Terrace. The Old House, the original building, is connected to the Main House.
Sitting on four acres, the Inn is quiet and peaceful. Restaurants and attractions are within 2 miles of the Inn.
If you love to walk or bike, this is the place for you. Little Round Top, site of the second days battle, is 3/4 of a mile from the Inn and a favorite walking site for our guests. Once in the Battlefield, you can continue to Devils Den and the Wheatfield. In addition, our country setting allows you to walk or bike on safe, scenic roads.
We look forward to having you visit with us.
