Designed to complement the historic main building, six premium guest rooms have been created with the idea of combining the splendor and serenity of the mountains with all of the necessities essential to relaxing accommodations. These very large rooms feature central heat/air, cd players with satellite radio, fireside sitting areas, coffee makers with fresh ground Snowbird coffee and a selection of fine teas, mini fridge with icemaker, exposed trussed cathedral ceilings, spacious baths with a full assortment of custom bath amenities, hair dryers, steam showers, whirlpool tubs and mountain views from every window in the room as well as from the private porch and deck.

All rates are for two people and include:  a full breakfast from a menu that changes daily, gourmet picnic lunch for two packed for your daily outings, a seasonal menu featuring four (4) courses for the evening meal, high speed wireless internet access, laptop computers are available, use of canoes and kayaks located on Lake Santeetlah, mountain bicycles and fly rods. Massage therapy is available for an additional fee.

There is no deduction for meals missed.
Each additional person (over two)$60.00.
7% NC Sales Tax, 3% Local Accommodations Tax and 15% Service Charge will be added to the rates

Chestnut Lodge
Our newly constructed Chestnut Lodge, designed to compliment the original, historic Main Lodge building, opened on April 7th. Six premium rooms have been created with the idea of combining the splendor and serenity of the mountains with the amenities and comforts essential to relaxing accommodations. All rooms include central heat and air, king-sized beds with lovely hand-sewn quilts, fireside sitting areas with comfortable seating or loveseats, CD player, minibars with refrigerators and ice makers, cathedral ceilings, spacious bathrooms with whirlpool tubs and steam showers, and most important, mountain views from every window in the room. Main Lodge
In your room you'll find both modern convenience and traditional comfort. Each room is paneled in a different hardwood…the charming beds, chests, tables, nightstands and luggage racks, also crafted of native wood by local craftsmen, have been in the lodge since its opening. You'll enjoy the ceiling fan and coffeemaker we've included in your room… you won't miss the telephone or television we've excluded. Room Descriptions 
 
Wolfe Cottage
This cottage is named for Arthur and Edwin Wolfe who built the Lodge in 1941. It features two separate guest rooms that were fully renovated in 1996. Each of these rooms feature cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, fireplaces, a minibar, and spacious bath with a relaxing whirlpool tub. Each room also features a front porch with a breathtaking view of the mountains and a private rear deck overlooking the woods. Room Descriptions
