Antietam Overlook Farm is a participant in the following trips.
Experience “America’s Two Favorite Drives”: The Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway A drive down the Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway is meant to be slow paced and relaxing. Although the road is often seen primarily as a scenic byway with plenty of natural attractions, it is also a cross section of Appalachian mountain history. The Skyline Drive (105 miles) and the Blue Ridge Parkway (469 miles) stretch along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains from Front Royal, VA to Cherokee, NC. View Trip
Appalachian National Scenic Trail The Appalachian Trail (A.T.) is a 2,175-mile long footpath stretching through 14 eastern states from Maine to Georgia. Conceived in 1921 and first completed in 1937, it traverses the wild, scenic, wooded, pastoral, and culturally significant lands of the Appalachian Mountains.
Our Mid-Atlantic Region offers many opportunities for accessibility to and from the trail access points. We have 41 miles of the A.T in Maryland, 2 miles in West Virginia (+20 along state borders) and 544 miles in Virginia. View Trip
