It's not the rich, luxurious fabrics that adorn the room, gas fireplace, nor the nature inspired boarder, it's not even the cozy spacious sitting area with a tv cabinet and gas fireplace, although it exudes luxury. What will capture your heart and take your breath away is the view. Not just any view. Layed out before you like a priceless painting, is unspoiled forest, mountains and the legendary Moosehead Lake. Second floor room with sweeping views of Moosehead lake and Big Moose mountain. The hand carved queen bed was the fourth in the series. The head board is of our magnificent bull in all his glory, we also gave him a sparring partner as September and October is the "rutting season." Several different staining techniques were used to create a more life-like appearance. The bed along with the matching bathroom mirror embraces and celerbrates our cherished friend, the MOOSE. A fabulous room with a very spacious sitting area, tv cabinet and gas fireplace. A full size Thomasville sleeper sofa, several wing back chairs upholstered in a warm, earthy color pallet. | | | | Let your imagination soar: One of two first floor, Lake view rooms. Upon entering the room you may find yourself taken back by the unsurpassed breathtaking lake and mountain views. The deep rich bedding is only enhanced by the hand carved queen four poster bed. The Loon, whose cry can be heard on most summer evenings,was the first to be created. The foot finials represent the loon contemplating flight while the head finials are full flight. The post represent the wake. A cozy sitting nook, gas fireplace and all it's blissful surroundings with many extra touches make for a glorious haven to return to at the end of the day.
