Second floor room with sweeping views of Moosehead lake and Big Moose mountain. The hand carved queen bed was the fourth in the series. The head board is of our magnificent bull in all his glory, we also gave him a sparring partner as September and October is the "rutting season." Several different staining techniques were used to create a more life-like appearance. The bed along with the matching bathroom mirror embraces and celerbrates our cherished friend, the MOOSE. A fabulous room with a very spacious sitting area, tv cabinet and gas fireplace. A full size Thomasville sleeper sofa, several wing back chairs upholstered in a warm, earthy color pallet. The deep rich bedding is only enhanced by the hand carved queen four poster bed. The Loon, whose cry can be heard on most summer evenings,was the first to be created. The foot finials represent the loon contemplating flight while the head finials are full flight. The post represent the wake.
