We are proud to share with you the most recent RAVES on the Lodge at Moosehead Lake. No other Inn in Maine has achieved such acknowledgement. The Lodge at Moosehead Lake is inland Maine's only AAA Four Diamond Award property and has maintained that rating since 1994. In addition, the Lodge is a proud member of Select Registry since 1995, a group of exceptional inns of North America. In 2009 the Lodge was awarded one of the World's BEST Adventure Lodges by Away.com and a finalist for Most Excellent Romantic Hideaway by Condé Nast Johansens. Karen Brown's Readers voted the Lodge "Most Romantic" New England Inn of 2008 and Down East, magazine's BEST of Maine for 2008 named the Lodge for Lakeside Romance. Additional accolades include Boston magazine's New England Travel & Life's recipient of the 2007 BEST of New England, where the Lodge was singled out from among all the businesses in the lodging category by Boston magazine's editors; is featured in the 1000 Places to See in the U.S.A. & Canada Before You Die page 29 - by Patricia Schultz and included in Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report 2005 Grand Award Winner in the 26th annual Hotel of the Year.
