Dining at Monmouth is an experience that should not be missed!
Breakfast Each morning, all overnight guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary full Southern breakfast in our beautiful Garden Room. In addition to the full breakfast, lighter choices such as fruits, yogurts, and cereals are also available.
In the evening, guests gather in the Quitman Study for drinks and complimentary hors d’oeuvres prior to the evening meal. For dinner, guests have two dining options: The five-course Chef’s Table dinner served in the Dining Room or the a la carte menu of the “1818” restaurant served in the Main House parlors. Chef’s Table Dining
The five-course Chef’s Table menu is written each morning by our co-executive chef’s Tab Fuqua and Rick Simons. There is one seating of dinner each evening at 6:30. A starter, salad, sorbet, entrée, and dessert make up the five courses. The guest has a choice of three entrée’s. The entrée options usually consist of an Angus Beef Filet, a seafood entrée, and a poultry or game entrée. The main table in the dining room seats up to twelve guests. There are also two private tables for two-four. There is a fixed menu price of $48 plus tax, gratuity, and drinks.

The a la carte restaurant opens at 6:00 each evening. The menu offers numerous appetizers, soups, salads, entrées, and desserts. Seating options in the 1818 restaurant are customizable to fit the need of the guest. The superiority of the cuisine is only surpassed by the quality of the wait staff’s service.
