Ruby Grapefruit with Rum Raisin Sauce  

Ingredients
 
5 large Ruby Red grapefruit 6 Tbsp sugar 6 Tbsp water 1/2 c golden raisins 1/4 c rum 1/2 c slivered almonds  

Directions
 
Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan and dissolve over medium heat. Place raisins in a small bowl and stir in sugar water and rum. Soak overnight. Section grapefruit over a large bowl, reserving juice. Add rum raisin sauce and stir to coat. Portion grapefruit into individual serving dishes and top with slivered almonds.
