Mid Coast Maine

All along the Mid-Coast, you'll discover lighthouses, charming villages, glacier-carved peninsulas, and grand panoramas. Come hide away at one of our acclaimed inns. Go antiquing, attend a country auction, browse irresistible shops, visit a museum, and take in a play or concert. Go biking or kayaking, sail on a famous windjammer, take a scenic train excursion, ferry to spectacular islands, or go sightseeing for seals, whales, puffins and dolphins. Join the fun at one of our special events, too! When it's time to dine, there's everything from salty to sophisticated, including plenty of just-caught lobster. In the winter, go skiing, skating, or tobogganing, or just curl up by the fire.
