Oatmeal Apple Pancakes  

Ingredients
 
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked oats
  • 1/3 cup Canola oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
 

Directions
 
Pour oats into a medium bowl; pour milk over oats and let stand about 2 minutes. Preheat lightly greased electric griddle (375-400 degrees). Beat in oil and remaining ingredients with a hand beater. Then, add 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. allspice and 1/2 tsp. ground cloves. I also add some chopped apple. Serve with maple syrup or homemade applesauce for a great fall morning treat!  

Yield
 
1 1/2 dozen pancakes.
