- Southern Maine Lighthouses: Five lighthouses "warn ships and save lives" along the York County coast. All five are located on islands or ledges and are visible to the naked eye but only two can be visited—and then only by small boat.

- Dock Square: Located 4 blocks from the inn is the center of this quaint seaside village, Dock Square, an easy stroll along tree-lined streets.
