- Summer Residence of President George Bush: The inn is located just 2.5 miles from Walker’s Point, summer home to former President George Bush
- Southern Maine Lighthouses: Five lighthouses "warn ships and save lives" along the York County coast. All five are located on islands or ledges and are visible to the naked eye but only two can be visited—and then only by small boat.
- Kennebunk Beach: 2 miles from the inn.
- Dock Square: Located 4 blocks from the inn is the center of this quaint seaside village, Dock Square, an easy stroll along tree-lined streets. Here, guests will find unique gift shops, unusual boutiques, casual and fine dining and beautiful art galleries. Just one block from the inn is our scenic harbor where guests can surrender to the lure of the ocean by boarding either a sailing vessel, cruise boat, kayak or fishing boat.
- National Research Reserve at Laudholm Farm: a 1600-acre nature preserve and research center dedicated to the protection and promotion of Maine’s coastal ecology. Here, you’ll find beautiful nature trails leading to a pristine beach.
