White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

This cookie started off as a Christmas cookie here at Brewster House, but it has become our signature cookie, as well, and is now used throughout the year, as it is our most requested recipe.

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/8 t baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temp
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup white chocolate morsels
  • 1 C sweetened dried cranberries

Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; set aside.

Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer 30 seconds; gradually add sugar, mixing well.

Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating until blended after each addition.

Add flour mixture to butter mixture gradually, beating at low speed just until blended.

Stir in white chocolate morsels and cranberries.

Using a 2 T cookie scoop, drop dough onto parchment lined baking sheets.

Bake at 350° for 14 to 16 minutes or until lightly browned on bottom and barely brown on top. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
