Switchel
Have you ever heard of switchel? Our children sell it, along with lemonade, outside our house for 25 cents a glass.

Ingredients
- 1 gallon of water
- 2 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of dark molasses
- 1/2 cup of white or cider vinegar
- 2 tsps of ground ginger.
Preparation
They mix it all.
It is very sweet and has a strong gingery taste, but boy is it refreshing on a really scorching day!
