Ruby Grapefruit with Rum Raisin Sauce
A tipsy fruit dish.

Ingredients
- 6 Tbs. sugar
- 6 Tbs. water
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1/4 cup rum
- 6 large Ruby Red grapefruit
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
Preparation
Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan and dissolve over medium heat. Place raisins in a small bowl and stir in sugar water and rum. Soak overnight.
Section grapefruit over a large bowl, reserving juice. Add rum raisin sauce and stir to coat. Portion grapefruit into individual serving dishes and top with slivered almonds.
