Pheasant Cheese Cocktail Spread
Through fall and winter, this new recipe has become a guest favorite at our Lowcountry Afternoon Tea. This savory spread has a very unique taste because of the sweet pickles. All of your party guests will love it but they won't be able to figure out the secret ingredient. Naturally, we would rather serve it to you here at the Inn. Enjoy.

Ingredients
- 1 5-ounce jar Old English Spread
- 1/4 pound very sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped sweet pickle
- 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preparation
In a large bowl, mix together the cheeses, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, onion, pickle, parsley and pepper.
