Hot Cocoa Tart

Ingredients

  • 4 ounce unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for crust)
  • 1 egg (for crust)
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for filling)
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 6 ounce semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 eggs (for filling)

CRUST
Mix together sugar and butter. Add the egg and continue to mix. Add in flour and cocoa and mix until it forms a ball.

Roll out and put into ten 3 to 3 _ inch tart pans that have been greased.

Prebake for 5 minutes at 325° Fahrenheit

FILLING
Bring heavy cream and milk to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate.

Mix sugar and eggs in a separate bowl. Stir in the chocolate mixture.

Pour into the prebaked shells and bake at 325° Fahrenheit just until set.

Let cool slightly, then turn out while still warm.
