Gingerbread Waffles
The perfect way to start your winter day. All of the flavor of the gingerbread cookies you love at the holidays, captured in a waffle. Crisp and sweet on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside.

Ingredients
- 1 C Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Ground Clove
- 2 Eggs
- 1 C Milk
- 6 TBS Butter
- 2 TBS Dark Molasses
- Garnish with Toasted Pecans and Vermont Maple Syrup
Preparation
In a large bowl combine dry ingredients and stir, create a well in the dry ingredients. In a microwave safe bowl, melt butter, whisk in eggs and molasses. Whisk in milk. Pour wet ingredients into dry well and with a spatula fold together. Batter will be lumpy. Spray waffle iron with cooking spray and cook according to your particular waffle irons instructions. Garnish with toasted pecans and Vermont Maple Syrup.
