Cranberry Squares
Cranberry preserves add a wonderful holiday flavor to these dessert squares.

Ingredients
- 1 C flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 stick of butter, soft
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbl. milk
- 16 ounces of cranberry preserves or jam
- 4 Tbls melted butter
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1 C coconut
- 1 egg, beaten
Preparation
Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add butter, egg and milk. Mix well.
Pat mixture in a 11 x 7 pan, sprayed with PAM. Spread cranberry preserves on crust.
Mix melted butter, sugar, coconut and egg mixture. Bake 35 minutes or until top is golden. Cool in pan before cutting into squares.
