Ingredients
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup Wheaties
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- ½ tsp. Baking power
- ½ tsp. Baking soda
- ½ tsp. Salt
- ¾ cup shortening (butter)
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
Preparation
Grease a cookie sheet. In a large bowl combine the first 8 ingredients. In a separate bowl combine the shortening, brown sugar and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla to the shortening mixture. Add the dry ingredients to the shortening mixture, stirring until a firm dough forms. Divide the dough into 12 balls. Flatten the balls on the prepared cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 oven for 15 min.
