Ingredients
- 2 ½ c. 40% Bran Flakes
- 1 ¼ c. milk
- 1 egg
- 5 tbl. melted margarine
- 1 ¾ C. flour
- ½ C. sugar
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- ½ C. blueberries (Maine, can be frozen)
Preparation
Mix together Bran Flakes, milk, egg and melted margarine and let stand for 2 minutes. In separate bowl place flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Layer blueberries on top of wet mixture. Pour dry mixture into wet & stir only until moist. Place into muffin tins & sprinkle with sugar. Bake 20 minutes at 375.
