Apple Clafouti

| Yield : serves 5 - 6 |
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 4 Tbs. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup cream
- 4 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
Mix above ingredients to form a smooth batter. Heat a 10" skillet, spray with Pam and place over medium heat. Pour in batter. Cook over a low flame about 5 minutes until the edges begin to form.
Toss together the following:
2 apples, thinly sliced
2 Tbs. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Arrange apples neatly and decoratively covering the batter. Drizzle with 2 Tbsp. melted butter. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until the center is firm.
Cut in 5-6 wedges and serve with New Hampshire dark amber maple syrup. Hold in 200 degree oven if necessary .
