The Basics

SELECT REGISTRY MEMBER SINCE 2023

Originally constructed in 1790 for the Cuthbert Family, this antebellum-style home served as a residence during the summer social season. While welcoming visits from other prominent families and political figures, their refreshing retreat along the bay was perfectly situated to capture cool, gentle coastal breezes. Over time, the home has been lovingly preserved and meticulously restored into the grand, historic inn it is today.

This is absolutely the best B&B my husband and I have ever stayed in, and we’ve travelled a lot all over the world! The building and rooms were impeccably kept and the decor elegant. The inn had so many nice little touches from the extra soft robes to the huge walk in shower and all amenities in the house. But what really made it special was the staff and...See More

My husband and I were there to celebrate our Anniversary. From making our reservations to our last breakfast the people at the Cuthbert House are who make you feel "cared for". The Cuthbert House Inn is a wonderfully grand combination of a beautiful historic home and elegant sophisticated decor and amenities. We chose the Cuthbert House for our stay from the pictures, reviews and information we found on line....See More

There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about our stay at the Cuthbert. Matt made us feel at home the entire time and seemed to be right there whenever we needed something. He is a gift to this place and if all our stays are like this past one, we will continue to make Cuthbert our first choice for our future stays. We've stayed here in the past,...See More

We had an excellent stay at the Cuthbert House Inn. The inn is a perfect blend of a historic antebellum house with modern conveniences made by a recent renovation. An excellent breakfast and great afternoon reception are included. Personnel provide excellent service and great information on area places to visit. Thanks to Carrie, Karen and Matt.

Lovely inn, recently modernized with new bathrooms and lighter brighter interior. The staff, Carrie, Karen and Matt went over and above to enhance our stay. The inn provides a happy hour and a nice buffet breakfast. Highly recommend!
